Trevoulter Barton Stud was founded in 1997 by Kerensa Pluess on her family's farm at Poundstock. After experiencing considerable success as an event rider, most notaby on her well known Horse Enterprize Mr Data, the family purchased Gorsfraith Brenin and later added to the stud Desmond and Silca Blanka.

Kerensa combines her Horse Breeding with the stud work, horse training and schooling and selling on of clients horses, as well as producing homebred youngstock for sale or ready to start their careers in their chosen discipline.

The family all have their part to play in the running of the stud. Graham Pluess (Dad) provides haylige, straw and cereals together with the stabling and field shelters made by his own firm. Lynn (mum) provides support and coverage for Kerensa as well as being an unpaid stable hand, taking care of both Kerensa's and Graham's full time businesses. Latesha (sister) helps with the foaling and covering of the mares in between running her busy holiday business.
